This promising Jappaloep SA was one of the outliers at the autumn stallion approval of Zangersheide in 2017. On behalf of the jury, inspection committee member Heinz Meyer spoke very positively about this top talent. “Jappaloep SA jumps with a lot of quality and is a complete jumping horse, with very good conformation.” He combines athletic ability with a good canter, scope, quick reflexes and a great deal of carefulness.
His sire Eldorado van de Zeshoek has jumped on the highest level with Willem Greve and represented the Netherlands in several Nations Cups successfully. As a breeding stallion he is making progress even more, with high-profile offspring such as Grandorado TN, Highway M TN, Japatero VDM and Jeunesse. Jappaloep SA’s damsire is the international sports and breeding stallion Coriano, who has established his name due to outstanding offspring like Curtis, Cœur de Lion, Condios, Chinobamba Lavita and Coertis. Granddam Lawada produced an 1.35m showjumper and is also listed as granddam of the international 1.50m jumper Usborne (by Opan) of Alessandro Colombo and the international 1.45m jumping horse Quiseppe d'Hiver (by Quidam’s Rubin) of Stefano Marcotulli.
The damline of Jappaloep SA continues with the valuable breeding stallions Landgraf I, Roman and Marlon xx. This Holsteiner damline 671 has built up a good reputation for producing well-known Grand Prix showjumpers like Acapulco (by Calido I) of Wim Schröder, Coach (by Con Air) of Beezie Madden and U Tabasca (by Cassini I) of Chantal Müller.
Jappaloep SA: the athlete with great origines and a bright future!
