Breeding is a gamble? Rubbish! Not with the stallion Edinburgh! His collection of foals resulted in the following, abridged, report: The stallion Edinburgh showed a uniform collection of very satisfactorily developed foals with charisma. Walk and trot are good. The canter, which is so very important for a jumping horse, is powerful with scope, elasticity and balance. Temperament, reflexes and technique are the qualities that he can improve in a mare and add to jumping horse breeding.
As a foal, the stallion Edinburgh already stood out as a promise for the future. The stallion Edinburgh fulfils this promise fully. Following a fantastic performance in the 2013 VION-Cup he was referred for the performance test. The stallion Edinburgh passed with flying colours. In the GMB-stallion competition the combination Kristian Houwen – Edinburgh commanded respect and admiration. In Zuidbroek the stallions were judged by Nathalie van der Mei and the renowned German rider and stud owner Gerd Sosath. The result: 2 x a 9!
